The Dress

This is the most amazing, elegant and comfortable dress! I purchased a Karen Willis Holmes Caitlyn dress, which was stunning, but I decided I would like a sleeve. So, I purchased Ivory micro-bead sequin fabric from the UK and the dressmaker remade the top part of the dress with a v neck in both the front and back and a full sleeve.

The dress is full sequin and has a silk/satin under-layer which is very comfortable against the skin. It was very easy to move and dance in and I didn't feel at all constricted.

I am 167cm tall and wore a 6cm heel, but was also able to wear it with flat shoes later in the evening.

It comes with a matching sequin belt that you can see in the photographs. During alterations I had a bustle put in place (which I never used) and it also has a wrist loop to hold while dancing etc.

I wanted a wedding dress that didn't look and feel like every other wedding dress I'd seen a million times! It's comfortable and custom made.....no-one else has this dress :)

A bustle has been added.
The top part of the dress (bust and high waist) has been custom made.
The train has some sequins missing from moving along the ground. There are spare sequins that can be added back on if you feel the need.
