The Dress

Said Yes to the Dress at Kleinfeld! This elegant and whimsical Eve of Milady design is too beautiful not to be worn again! I bought this dress in a bridal size 10 (my normal street-size is around 2 to 4, waist measurement is about 27.5 inches), and had the bodice taken in, among other alterations.
The fabric comprising the top of the dress is nude mesh with a hand-beaded ivory embroidered overlay; the sculptured lace details frame the neckline beautifully, with flattering and tasteful placement of the appliqué throughout the bodice. The back is a low-V (zip-up) with beadwork overlaying the top of the zipper, and there are built-in nude bra cups with padding in the chest for a little extra support. The A-Line skirt has layers of cream-colored satin, tulle and organza, with blush undertones. There is a stunning train with embroidered appliqué flowers trailing down skirt. A custom bustle has been discreetly added to the under-layers of fabric in case you'd like the option to bustle the dress after the ceremony (you’ll save money on the tailoring!).
I ordered extra lace appliqués from the designer with my original dress purchase and my seamstress created a custom cathedral-length veil out of the same hand-beaded and embroidered lace that matches the dress! Veil can also be made available upon request.

Alterations:
The dress was taken in at the bodice and the shoulders. The dress came with white bra cups that I covered with nude cups to blend with the rest of the nude mesh on the top of the dress (34 small C bust). The dress was shortened to fit my height of 5'3'' (which was actually 5'7.5'' with my heels on), but there is plenty of fabric to be let out if you are taller, and the train can be bustled. I added a layer of extra tulle to the underneath of the waist area to give it a bit more volume through the hips (this can be easily removed if you want more of a straight fit).
Professionally cleaned after wedding.

Flaws:
There is a small tear at the bottom of the dress, only impacting a small piece of the top layer of tulle (I'd assume it could be easily stitched up by a seamstress).
