The Dress

This dress has a lovely embroidery featured throughout the main stitching in Ivory with accents of cream and silver. Small beads have also been stitched throughout the embroidery to give a soft sparkle. The bodice is fully boned with a lace up back, gives a great shape to the bust and waistline. There is a folded over band on the top of the bodice which features the embroidery. The bodice can be worn with or without a panel (included) to fill the back under the lace up.

The skirt has inbuilt tulle which gives some fullness and I also wore a soft tulled petticoat (I hired) to
give the skirt a fuller effect. As seen in the first photo the skirt has an opening at the front which creates a V that is filled with the embroidery (also shown in photo 4a). The stitching then trails along the bottom of the skirt to the train where it comes up and creates another V of embroidery(photo 3b). At the top of the skirt back there is 4 tails all with embroidery on the ends you can just see these in the 3rd photo. The train is able to be bustled up at the back (photo 3a) making a beautiful display of the embroidery on the back of the skirt and easier to dance the night away

Dress was brought from Abby Bridal in Melbourne for $1500. I was a comfortable size 16 - 18 when I was married the dress is tagged a size 20. I had the dress taken up about 2 1/2 inches done by the Abby bridal store at time of purchase. Due to the lace up nature of the bodice it would be able to fit someone slightly smaller or slightly larger. The brooch on the bodice is a family heirloom and not included.

Has been professionally dry cleaned and kept safe in a bridal dress bag.
