The Dress

This dress is a Hayley Paige design which I wore on my wedding day for a November 2017 wedding in San Antonio Texas. This dress is stunning, I got so many compliments about how gorgeous the skirt is and how elegant the top is. This dress was a dream to wear all night, with the ball gown skirt it was easy and fun to dance in. Getting to spina round the dance floor with my husband still goes down as one of our favorite memories of the night.

The top is satin and the bottom is tulle, for being a ball gown this dress is surprisingly light making is very comfortable. This dress also has a full train which can be bustled up by buttons hidden underneath the top layers.

I normally am a 0 on top but a 2 (or 26) for jeans. I am 5'4 and wore flats on my wedding day therefore the dress is true to height. I normally wear a 32 B, the top has push up cups added in however they can easily be taken out or swapped for a different size. This dress has been professionally cleaned by Finto Bridal Cleaners in Dallas and is in immaculate shape. No damage was done to the dress and the bustle is still intact. This dress has only been worn once for my wedding and has been safe in a sealed box in my closet since being cleaned!

This dress has been altered to add in a supportive elastic band that sits at the small part of the wait to prevent the dress from slipping. This ensured I did not have to pull the dress up or fix it at all throughout the night. The dress also has added satin buttons down the back of the dress to conceal the previously exposed zipper going from the top of the dress to the full length of the zipper hidden within the tulle. This was added at an additional cost for alterations and adds that classic element making the dress even more beautiful! The buttons are only really visible at the top of the dress where the satin is.
