The Dress

This divine and elegant dress was created by one of Australia's fashion icon, Collette Dinnigan.

Part of her Secret Garden collection, this exquisite two-piece wedding gown is made of 100% silk underlay and Swiss organza with french lace applique. It is the perfect dress for a vintage chic inspired wedding.

I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it in the store and was the only dress I tried on. The delicate design of this dress creates an elegant silhouette that flatters.

Size: Small (will fit 8 - 10)

It was purchased from South Yarra boutique for $4850 and was hemmed to my height (164cm is my height and I was wearing 9cm heels) by Alice Haute Couture which was the recommended seamstress by Collette Dinnigan store. This dress was also altered in a way that gives a slight train at the back. It also includes the petticoat ($250 made by Alice Haute Couture) for a sweeping flared skirt effect.

This dress has been worn once in April 2011. It has been dry cleaned straight after the wedding and it is in immaculate condition.

Upon purchase, it will come with original Collette Dinnigan hanger, cotton dress bag and carry bag. I can also provide the original tag if required.
