The Dress

Description: Strapless asymmetrical bustier gown with layers of ruffles on the skirt and bias strips on bodice, tied at the waist with a velvet ribbon.

All the work has been done for you! Alterations to the dress include the addition of a bustle, allowing the train of the dress to be hooked up and out of the way. This creates a beautiful shape at the back and you might even prefer this look instead of leaving the train out. The velvet ribbon has also been altered to include a hook and clasp, so that it forms the perfect preformed bow without you having to tie one on the day.

I pinned a vintage style brooch onto the bow (brooch not included) but you could choose a different style brooch, pin a flower there or leave it plain.

This dress is in excellent condition. I only wore this dress for 3-4 hrs as I wore a traditional chinese dress in the morning and changed into another dress for the reception.

I am 158cm tall and wore kitten heels with this dress. The length was altered to suit, which was a little tricky because of the how the ruffles sat asymmetrically but if you are approximately my height then you have nothing to worry about :D
