The Dress

This top and skirt were purchased from The Bridal Atelier in Double Bay, Sydney and worn in October 2017.

I had the lace "Ada" top sleeves altered from full length to 3/4 by an incredible seamstress who managed to keep the stunning detail on the end of the sleeve and the invisible zipper and move it up seamlessly. I wore a normal strapless bra underneath and felt so comfortable the entire day/night. There is a small hole in the lace under the arm which one of my bridesmaids only noticed as I was putting it on and I never thought about it again. I’ve tried to spot it in photos but can’t.

The silk skirt is absolutely stunning and no photos could do the fabric or way it falls justice. The Marlena skirt did not come hemmed and also required alteration for my height (169cm with shoes 5.5cm heel). I also had a loop put on the skirt to hook over my finger for dancing and the waist brought in slightly. Minor 'wear and tear' from the day, including a mark from the flowers Which is difficult to spot.

The top and skirt are a US size 2 and fit me perfectly as an Aus size 6/8. The Theia size chart measurements are: X-Small - Bust - 33 inches / Waist - 26 inches / Hips - 33inch / My Height -169cm
