The Dress

The Nerada gown by Karen Willis Holmes is a beautifully sequinned and beaded gown. It's perfect for a bride wanting a modern and unique twist to the traditional wedding dresses.

I wore it for my wedding in March 2017 and it was professionally dry cleaned a few days after my wedding so it's in great condition. It was a cocktail wedding so it was only worn from 10am-4pm that day! It has been in its dry cleaning protective bags and hung up in the original Karen Willis Holmes gown bag since.

The dress is easy to put on and take off, with a simple zip at the lower back and halter neck tie. It felt light and easy to get around in as well. There is also a matching sequinned belt which sits at the seam on the waist. It fits really comfortably and the fabric falls straight down to highlight the figure. There is a medium sized train which has not been altered and can be fastened up with ribbons (which are hidden in the layers) if you wish.

I had bust cups inserted (Size B), which can be removed by your tailor if you don't need/want them. The dress was hemmed at the front - I am 165cm and I wore flat sandals on the day.
