Old Hollywood meets Greek goddess. Purchased this beautiful gown at a sample sale in NYC. Simple, elegant and timeless, with a gorgeous fabric. The color is ivory, and depending on the light, it looks like it shimmers with hints of pink and gold. Very flowy and free, and not heavy at all. Never been worn—my fiance and I ultimately decided on a much smaller courthouse wedding, and a full gown like this just didn’t seem like the right choice.

Floor sample altered to fit my measurements: 32.5" bust, 28" waist, 37" hip. Because of the construction of the dress, there may be more room to accommodate a larger hip size. Hemmed for my height wearing flats, 5' 10". Bustle added as an alteration. A small piece of silk fabric left over from the alterations (approx. 70" long, approx. 3.5" wide) will be included, if you would like to add a strap, cover shoes in the same fabric, add a small detail, etc. *Note: The second picture was taken at my last fitting, prior to making the final hemming. The current dress has a smooth, clean hem!
Since purchasing it and making alterations, it has been stored in a garment bag in my closet. The fabric is in beautiful condition. There is some slight discoloration on the inside of the bodice, not visible when you are wearing it. To my knowledge it is unworn, other than people trying it on in the store. Because it is 100% silk, you will need to get a professional steaming to remove any naturally occurring wrinkles from storage.
