This dress was my DREAM dress from Sarah Seven, an unique version of the original Orleans, this dress is all sequins from top to bottom. The material under the sequins has a nice stretch to it which you can move around (and dance as seen above). The dress itself is on the heavier side because of all the sequins, however compared to the other sequined dresses I tried on, I felt like I could fly in this one. The only time it felt heavy was when I initially put it on, then the rest of the day I didn't notice it at all. The dress is on the fitted side, though depending on your make, might fall straight. I have a booty and some hips which I wanted to show off and this dress did it for me. If you are straighter in the hips it will look very beautiful on you as well, all of the models on the Sarah Seven website wearing this dress are a straighter build and it looks amazing on them. IMPORTANT: Sizing on this dress may vary from a true 6. I have a very small waist compared to my hips and therefore they were able to make the top of this dress a size 4 and the bottom a size 6. It fit perfectly the first time I put it on which meant not a lot of alterations. I am a size 32DD bust and this baby was able to hold my breasts in for all the jumping and dancing I needed it to. There is no padding in the bust area as I did not feel the need to put any in, and I simply wore the petals under it and that is it. If you are having an outdoor wedding I highly suggest this dress as the light bounces off the sequins so perfectly and glimmers everywhere you walk. After my wedding I immediately sent the dress to Jacksonville to get professionally cleaned, and it is now ready to ship to it's next owner! I hope you love this dress as much as I did!
The only alterations made to this dress were enforcements to the buttons holding the halter, as they had a stretchy material and so there were clasps placed there so that the buttons are now just an extra detail, I believe there are about 3 of them. I also had the dress hemmed. I am 5'8 and I had it hemmed about an inch below that for my heals.
