The Dress

This is a beautiful, ethereal A-line gown that I absolutely loved wearing on my wedding day. I never thought I'd be a tulle skirt kinda girl, but this tulle is insanely soft and the whole dress is very light. The skirt was made for twirling, and twirl I did! It was a very, very comfortable wedding dress. The detailing on the bodice is lovely (beading and buttons are intact, but I have the extra beading just in case you need it!) The bodice is ivory and the skirt is champagne, but it photographs evenly as light ivory (see photo 2).

I am also throwing in a Sara Gabriel Stephanie veil (custom length 20/30) for free if you wish. There is a small hole in one of the layers, but I am told it is an easy fix. And it is free so there is that:) I got it for $200.

I am including photos of the dress you will be getting (you can see the lovely veil as well in photo 2.) Please pay attention to the notes on alterations & flaws. There are no serious problems, but the dress has not been dry cleaned, and you will have to get the train cleaned at the very least. See photo 4, which shows that the train has some discoloration from dirt (city dirt, no grass stains!)

The first two photos are professional, and the dress looks a bit whiter than it does in person. The third photo shows that it is actually more of a true ivory.

I had the skirt shortened--I am 5 feet 2 and wore four inch heels. The dress skimmed the floor in the front; I did not shorten the beautiful train. I also had the straps shortened (sown over not cut, so you may lengthen them some if need be) and had cups sewn in (which can be removed). The dress has NOT been dry cleaned. There are no stains anywhere but on the train, where there is some discoloration from being dragged on the floor. (Please see photo 4.) Nothing dry cleaning won't fix. Since it was an exceptionally cool summer day in Chicago, sweat was not an issue--you may get away with just having the train cleaned if you are trying to save on cleaning.
