A beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown never worn.

This dress is an authentic, altered Monique Lhuillier Miranda gown. My husband and I had to switch our wedding date from summer to winter and thus needed to modify the gown. The lining is made of eco-friendly white suede silk, incredibly light but warm and beautiful to touch and enhances the overall gown. The fabric is French Monet Lace, all Monique Lhuillier, as I had ordered extra fabric (luckily). The gown is floor length with a 3 point train, I had added strong thread (known as "horse hair") to the skirt bottom so the shape is maintained and does not lay flat. The boat neckline is sheer but the dress lining is a deep V providing a conservative allure. The keyhole back is stunning, again all with original fabric. There are pearl styled buttons and a zip which join at the lower back. This can be made smaller as I had to lengthen the rope that hooks to the buttons - so it is able to be made bigger or smaller around the bodice. Can be worn with or without a belt, I had paired it with a white leather belt to give it a modern feel and it worked perfectly.

Never been worn as we had to then get married in the court!

I am 5'3 wearing 3" heels in the picture. Chest area, a 32DD so there is room to be modified if necessary as usual with gowns so it is a perfect fit. This gown would be perfect for winter, autumn or spring - city wedding or chapel. Such a versatile and beautiful gown, the lace is simply stunning.
