The Dress

Hi! I recently purchased this dress at a BHLDN sample sale for my upcoming wedding in April, but decided to go in another direction. It's a gorgeous dress and has never been worn/altered, but it does need a little bit of love.

I just wanted to point out, so there are no surprises:

• This dress is white lace overlay, over a nude lining - it's not traditionally white, it has more of a champagne look to it. It's also ombre on the bottom, running from ivory/champagne to almost a silvery gray.

• The spaghetti straps do need to be replaced (which can be done easily/inexpensively by a tailor).

• There is also a tear in the silk linking - you can't tell while wearing the dress, but that would need to be restitched as well (again, also an easy/inexpensive endeavor!).

• Very small (almost imperceptible) tear in the lace at the bottom of the hem - can definitely be fixed easily when being hemmed.

• I'm 5'8" and a traditional/street-sized 4 (US), and this dress fits like a glove, but will definitely need to be hemmed.

This dress retails for $1,750 at BHLDN. I am selling for what I paid ($650), but I'm open to negotiation! I'm also happy to answer any questions or send additional photos to anyone who is interested.
