Catherine Deane, Laverne

Stunning Catherine Deane Laverne dress I wore for our speeches/first dance and the last 2 hours of our wedding. Usually retails for about 3k in Au stores. Available online from the UK/US for less but then you get hit with annoyingly high import taxes (I got burned by this).

This dress has a romantic effortless feel. It is super comfy and fun to dance in. It photographs beautifully. Would be especially great for warm weather/outdoors.

This listing is for a second-hand size 10 (although not worn for portrait session so mostly indoors and nothing got spilled on it). It has been hemmed to just sweep the floor since it was for my dance. I am 5"8 and wore flats with a 1cm heel. The outer layer is a raw edge (as per original design) so naturally with soft tulle it has taken a few knocks (a bit of curling, the edging is not as pristine as fresh cut and there is one tiny less than half cm hole). You can't see any of that when it's on because it's gathered and they are tiny flaws but if you are shorter than me, you could cut a fresh edge. I cannot find any damage to the delicate lace back and the rest looks perfect. Wearing it it doesn't look like a second hand dress but I wanted to be clear about the hem condition before selling.
