The Dress

It's a Maggie Sottero Eden dress purchased from a boutique in Richmond.

It has been professionally dry cleaned and stored.

It is made of lace with a delicate overlay. It has an unusual design where the overlay crosses the body creating a slimming and flattering effect.

It is a size US 4 (UK 8) and I am a size UK 6 on the top and UK 8 on hips. The dress was altered in the following ways:

It has been taken in a bit so more of a UK 6/8 than a true 8. I am 5' 3" and I was wearing 4 inch heels.

I had bra cups added inside the dress so with those and the inbuilt boning you don't need a bra.

I had detachable straps added. I will include these.

I had some crystals added at one side on the appliqué. They add a little sparkle but could be easily removed if that's not your thing.

I had a crystal belt attached. It was removed for the dry cleaning and I can include this if you like.

I had a bustle created at the back and it is easy to work.

The overlay has pulled a little from lace but it will be very easy to reattach. I have decided not to do it myself as you may want to try it on and choose where to tack it on so it sits exactly how you like.
