The Dress

Beautiful Maggie Sottero fit and flare gown features a sweeping train with lace extending beyond the satin under. The light golden satin under is fitted to show off one's figure while the ivory lace overlay drapes to create a beautiful silhouette. Lace detail extends beyond the satin under at the sleeves and neckline in addition to the train. Back zipper closure is hidden by covered buttons. The waist is accented by a sparkling beaded grosgrain ribbon belt. The light golden ivory hues photograph beautifully while the silhouette of the gown perfectly frames a woman's feminine figure.

With the way this dress accentuated my smaller waist and hugged my booty, my husband could not keep his eyes off of me...which I obviously loved. My favorite part of the dress was the sweeping train which made me feel like a true bride and really balanced the figure of the dress. I also loved the golden ivory color because it did not wash out my complexion in photos, while still looking like a traditional white dress. We got married in southern California in May, so it was very warm and humid, and I wore this dress literally all day walking around for pictures. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I was and how cool I stayed in such a structured dress.

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned and looks like it has never been worn.

Upon request I can also include the veil I wore. It is an ivory, double tiered, elbow length veil with pearl and rhinestone accents attached to a 2" comb.

Minor alterations include tacking the belt so it would not slide, shortening the sleeves, hemming the front (5'8"), and taking in the sides. My dimensions are:
chest: 37"
waist: 29.5"
hip: 42"
My seamstress commented on how she loved working on this dress because it was so well structured, making it much easier to alter.
