The Dress

I bought this beautiful dress second hand from this site for my Summer wedding in 2016.
The dress is covered in beautiful lace from head to toe.
The Isobel dress is elasticated and so would fit a dress size 8-12 and is really comfortable to wear (and dance in!)
I have had the dress altered as I wanted the sash around the middle to have embellishment on (a bit like the Anna Campbell Isobel embellished dress) so I had the lace removed and the stones put on instead (see pic)
I also had the lace put into the length so that I could have the dress touching the floor (I am 5:8 and wore flat sandals but could easily have worn a small heel)
I had the bodice neckline pulled in to make it into a sweetheart neckline. If you look at pictures of the Isobel dress you will see that it does not 'dip' as much as a sweetheart bodice would.
I also had the back altered so that instead of having another sash tied across the back I had them crossed over beneath the lace ( see pic ) . Again if you look at pictures of the Isobel dress you will see that originally there was a bow just above you bottom with another bow ties from a sash around your chest . I wasn't keen on so many bows hence the alteration!
i absolutely loved wearing this dress it was perfect for our summer wedding. It would be lovely for this dress to be worn again and make someone else's day!

As we had an outdoor wedding the bottom of the dress has some marks on and also some bronzer around the neckline
I would be happy to have the dress dry cleaned prior to selling or to send photos of the marks and reflect this in the price
