It was my mother who fell in love with this dress before I did. She told me as soon as we walked into David's Bridal "that's the dress." She was right. This was the dress. It's absolutely gorgeous and it made me feel beautiful. As you can see from the pictures, it's a strapless, lace dress with floral detailing and a mermaid silhouette. I had it cleaned and preserved just weeks after the wedding and it has remained in its box for the past 5 years!
I only had the length altered because it was too long for me as I am about 5'4. I also had a bustle added to prevent tripping during the reception.
