Congratulations beautiful bride-to-be!

How I wish I had known about this website before I went to the trouble and expense of having a gown made! However, it is an incredible gown created by Moira Hughes from her ‘First Dance’ collection, pairing the Grace bodice with the Chloe skirt.

This stunning white gown was hand stitched in Sydney. The Grace bodice is made with exclusive French lace, chosen by Moira for her own wedding gown. The lace twinkles in the sun and the lightweight boning of the Parisian corseting ensures it fits like a glove with no danger of an unsightly muffin top or gaping of the bodice.

The Chloe skirt compromises a fitted silk skirt which hugs your curves beneath a floating silk chiffon skirt. When you stand at the end of your wedding aisle, the light shines through the silk chiffon to faintly reveal the fitted silhouette beneath. Sexy but demure. The skirt has a chapel length train and has been modified with a central split of the silk chiffon so that it moves beautifully and billows in the breeze. There is also a hook and button so that the train can be hitched up for dancing.

The gown was custom made for me so the bodice is a 10-12D and the length is approximately 1.83m (I am 5'9" and wore 3" heels). Worn once on my wedding day (Oct 2016), the gown has been professionally dry cleaned (receipt provided), is in perfect condition and comes in a garment bag. There is also a matching Moira Hughes cathedral length, two-tiered veil and a bespoke Jeanette Maree hair piece which are included for free.
