The Dress

I am not sure if this dress was limited edition or what, but even when I purchased it (I found it in the store at David's Bridal), I was never able to find it online. I never had any alterations made other than adding a bustle to the train (which is added with buttons that match the buttons going up the back of the dress), so it is a true size 10.

We had an indoor wedding and reception, so the dress was only outdoors for a brief time taking photos in a garden. There are no grass stains or dirt residue (no mud, rain, etc.). There are no tears in the dress and all of the buttons going up the back are in tact as they were the day of my wedding.

I loved this dress because it wasn't too heavy, yet it was substantial enough that it felt extra-special and well-made. The beading and lace details are so vintage-looking, and I received so many compliments as to the unique and vintage nature of the dress.

I also loved the train - it was enough to feel bridal, yet light enough that it wasn't bothersome, even before I tied it up in the bustle.

The only alteration I had made was I added a bustle (buttons match the buttons going up the back of the dress). The dress fit me perfectly - even the seamstress thought it was crazy I didn't have any alterations! As such, it's perfect for you to customize as it is a true size 10.
