The Dress

Beautifully handmade in England by the fabulous designer Lyn Ashworth - Windsor halls by Lyn Ashworth in the colour Oyster Pearl only worn for a few hours last December. Dress is beautifully made from silk, organza and French lace.
My dream dress, it's a shame to see it go but would be even more of a shame to put it in the loft when it can be someone else's dream dress too! The cost will include the veil to match (in the pictures) and underskirt which I wore with the dress. I am 5ft 6 and it flowed perfectly over the underskirt with 3.5 inch heels on. It has a few marks around the bottom of the organza skirt and only a few tiny marks on the underneath part of the silk skirt , these should come out with a dry clean, however they are right at the bottom so could be cut off. As usual after wearing a wedding dress it will need a full dry clean. I can get this done at an extra cost. The only thing missing is the sash which I left at the venue and they couldn't locate the next day. Any sash would look wonderful with this dress or a matching organza sash can be purchased from Lyn Ashworth, the dress looks beautiful even with a sash.

There is a small snag near the buttons which is easily fixed but once the buttons are done up you cannot see it, I can provide pictures so please message me. I have paid to have all the beads secured back on.

I was worried about the sizing leading up to the day, I am a high street size 16 and wanted to lose some weight before the big day and was told not to worry as this dress can be taken in up to 3 sizes. (I ended up losing no weight at all so it fit perfect) I would say this would be perfect for a 14/16 but can be taken in and let out by one size.

The dress was meant to be £2800 but I paid extra to have the train made longer which came at a cost of £250. I also have the perfect veil to match which can be seen in pictures, this cost me £275 . All in all the dress came to over £3000.
