The Dress

After buying a wedding dress, I fell pregnant 3 months before my wedding and realised that I would need another one.
I was incredibly lucky to find this beautiful dress from Karen Willis Holmes which was actually much better than my first option.
With the dress naturally fitting close under the chest, I could wear the dress easily even with my little bump (which was totally hidden under the dress!!!).

I really loved wearing this dress which is so light and comfortable.
I felt like a princess all day - It is so elegant and although the style looks simple, it is really sophisticated.
Bought from David Jones, the saleswoman told me that this dress had been rated in the top 10 wedding dresses by Vogue.

The gown bodice has a v-neckline with Chantilly lace cap sleeves. Semi-fitted lace skirt with a soft very fine tulle draping around the bodice & over the skirt. A high sheer back with keyhole that fastens into 3 little self covered buttons at the small of your back. From here the tulle draping falls into a small train over the lace skirt. The tulle draping is open at the front waistline so when you walk the movement of the fabric & layers is beautifully delicate & soft.

I am 178cm and wore 5cm heels, so there should be plenty room to adjust to your height.
I'm usually a size 8 but I took a size 10 to have a bit more room and I made a few alterations to have the waist tightened slightly. I also added 2 invisible clips at the back to attach the train so I wouldn't walk on it.

The dress is in perfect condition and was professionally dry-cleaned.
