The Dress

Selling this awesome modest dress which I designed myself.
I wanted to wear this to my own wedding this year, however after receiving the dress from the dressmakers, I don't feel this is the dress for me. Doesn't suit me, however it'll look great on you.

I designed it after I liked multiple options of dresses but couldn't find the perfect one. It's inspired from a Provonias back and train, however is very similar in shape on the front as a dress from Alta Moda. I was desperate for something understated but glamourous and simply couldn't find something right.

The dress was made to these dimensions:
Bust: 95cm
Hip: 110cm
Waist: 85cm
Height: 175cm
Collar to floor: 155cm
Arm hole: 42cm
Pit to pit: 48cm
Shoulder to shoulder: 46cm
Would suit a person that requires a UK size 14 or those prepared to have the dress taken in. It's set up so it's very easily altered.

It's completely made with micro white sequins lined with a polyester satin inside, making it smooth on the body. There's boning along the stomach, helping those that are after a flatter belly. A bra is inserted inside the dress so you won't need to wear one, making it easier for the keyhole back. The train is church length however I designed court length. If I was keeping the dress, I was going to get this shortened. The closure at the nape of the neck is hook and eye, the closure on the bottom is a zip. The cap sleeves are appliques of silver beads and silver rhinestones, adding a touch of additional glam to what would otherwise be a simple dress.

I planned to wear no belt or anything with this but you could if you wanted to.

The dress was ordered and delivered to my home address. It's been tried on at home on carpetted floor so hasn't got any sample dirt you get from dresses in a store, however it may have a few light makeup marks on the inside so you may want to dry clean that before the big day. It's been stored in its delivery bag since it's arrived (apart from when tried on) and will be sent to you in a gown bag.
