Original Maggie Sottero website description - One-piece, A-line gown with corset closure. This style features a compelling one-shoulder treatment comprised of delicate Alenon lace. Crystal organza is asymmetrically ruched across the bodice, and softly gathered to enrich the lavish A-line skirt. Alenon lace flourishes throughout the gown, glistening with Swarovski crystals and beaded embellishments.
This dress isn't as glitzy as the description, which I consider a positive. And though it was designed as a one shoulder dress, it would look great as an off the shoulder or sleeveless dress too. Because of the corset back, I believe this dress would fit anyone who wears size 6-10. Super comfortable!
Train was removed so the dress is as long in the back as it is in the front. Worn by 5'7" human in 2-3" heels. The innermost layer of crinoline (the itchy stuff) was removed for comfort and heat. These alterations made it very comfortable to wear.
