The Dress

The very famous 'MEGAN' gown from Israeli Designer Zahavit Toshiba's Spring/ Summer 2015 Collection. The most reputable and elite gown in the collection.
The Megan dress is a 2 piece gown consisting of a bodysuit and skirt, all handmade. A delicate paper lace bodysuit with open back and illusion fabric deep 'V' front. Spaghetti straps with matching lace detail and structured cups for your bust. 100% Italian white silk and soft Nylon tulle skirt with lace detail under each layer of tulle.
The dress is a UK size 6-8 but there is room for adjustment; both smaller and bigger sizes. There is optional padding for the bust which is sewn in but can be removed or added. The original dress is worn with a diamonte belt but I preferred without so asked the designer to add the lace to the top of the skirt instead. This can be removed or a belt simply worn over the lace.
The seamstress altered the layers for a more dramatic fishtail appearance. The train length has not be altered.
The dress was ordered directly from the designer and taxes were paid for delivery from a non-EU country (approx. £1,500).
I live in Hertfordshire and I am happy for you to try on the dress before purchase. The dress has been dry-cleaned and is available immediately. The top of the dress comes in a Zahavit Tshuba box and the skirt in a large dress bag to protect it.
The condition is used but has been well looked after. There are no make-up stains. The ceremony was in the evening and so the dress was worn for 8 hours.

I had a seamstress who reduced the length of each layer for a more dramatic effect. I am 5ft 4 so the skirt was perfect and didn't swamp me!
I asked the designer to add a thin lace trim to the top of the skirt. A belt can be worn over this.
It has been dry cleaned and is in good condition. There are small marks on the bottom of the train from walking around on grass, stones, etc. However, it is not visible when you are wearing the dress.
The dry cleaners noticed a small rip in the tulle on one of the bottom layers- I cannot find it so expect it is very small.
