The Dress

This dress is a custom made dress. I did not wear but it was made to my measurements. It is a satin champagne pretty heavy dress with beautiful ivory lace that I just purchased from the United Kingdom in February. In the end I went for a strapless dress but this dress is beautiful. It will definitely need alterations to fit you but generally I am a size 12-14. I am 5'5 and a half and if you are the following or less, this dress can work for you!! With bra on 44 inches across chest. Waist is 38 around and hips 44. This is a great year around dress with the added sleeves. Do you know how hard it is for a broad shouldered bride to find sleeves she likes?

You can remove the sash (or change flowers) easily but I did have it reinforced and tacked on. The sash alone was a few hundred dollars on Etsy. Train has bustle on satin dress and on the lace...still marked with safety pins. You can have all extra lace too! Great for making other things or accent other dresses with.

Side note, this dress has history and has cost me well over this price because it was a couture dress made for me which I didn't like (I never saw it in person and waited 10 months for it!) so I took it to a local designer and we created this. If you combine what I paid initially with what I spent for this re-do, it's $5,500! Now that's not your problem :) But in the end I didn't go with it and my husband still married me!
