The Dress

I LOVED my wedding dress but I'm not the sentimental type and I hate clutter :). I would also love if someone else could use/enjoy the dress! The dress is very elegant (I may be biased!) and reminds me of Jackie O. It is made from a gorgeous Mikado silk fabric and is ideal for a colder weather wedding (my wedding was in December). It has a delicate beaded belt along the waist and a matching beaded applique on the shoulders and on the bows on the back of the dress. The boat neck cut accentuates your neck and collar bones. The open back with the bow detailing was my favorite part. The Rosa Clara website shows the dress in its textured Pique silk fabric https://www.rosaclara.es/en/rc/samara/. Besides the different fabric, the Mikado version of the dress is identical. The Mikado fabric is smoother and has a nice slight sheen to it, making it fancier than the Pique version in my opinion. I first tried this dress on while in Spain, but purchased it at a local store in Rhode Island via special order. Rosa Clara is not too popular in the US, which made me feel like the dress was more unique than others.

I will also throw in my veil (fingertip length drop veil with organza ribbon edge purchased from Etsy- https://www.etsy.com/listing/240682292/charlotte-veil-fingertip-length-drop?ga_search_query=charlotte&ref=shop_items_search_1) and two pairs of shoes (Badgely Mishka- Nakita size 8 in silver (unworn) and Adriana Papell- Lois size 8 in ivory (worn indoors on wedding night)) to whoever purchases the gown.

NO ALTERATIONS TO BODY. Hemmed to my height (5' 6.5") with 2.5" heels. Ties for single french bustle added underneath. I also had one small layer of tulle removed from under the skirt to slightly decrease the volume of the dress. Hem in front of dress is coming a little bit loose (I'm sure it will have to be re-hemmed to your height anyway), beaded applique on shoulder needs to be sewn back down, one covered button is missing from the back. These flaws are shown in pictures above. It has been professionally dry cleaned and there are no stains. Great condition!!!
