The Dress

This was the dress of my dreams! The way it flows is so sexy and natural. I wore it for my outdoor wedding. There are a few snatches in the fabric, but nothing noticable while wearing. Only if you look at the dress from a few inches away and really examine will you see them. It also could do with a couple of inches taken up on the train and it being re-hemmed as it dragged on the grass. Although the hem is fine, the dress has some staining right at the bottom. Mostly under the skirt and you can only see when it's lifted up not when its down. I'm 5ft 8 and think that if you're 5ft 6 and below it will be perfect once hemmed. I can send additional pictures if you're interested and show you exactly where I mean. I'm so sad to see it go, but know that someone else will feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. Its an XS. On Grace Loves Lace you can look at what measurements fit an XS. The dress isn't skin tight so it can fit a range of measurements. I actually measured a small on my hips but due to the flowing nature of the dress it fits absolutely perfectly.

The Valentina, a favourite of the GLL team, features a flattering shape, beginning with a semi-fitted lace bodice with longer line, t-shirt sleeves and straight edge lining, for a contemporary feel. We love the open back with a double satin button closure and artfully placed lace motifs. The dramatic, full circle skirt has been handmade with 10 metres of Italian silk chiffon and a high side split adorned with French eyelash lace. The Valentina is the only dress in our collection with a skirt of this kind.

A few flaws in fabric but can only be seen up close. Has been handwashed and as a whole looks great but still has some staining right at the bottom and needs to be taken up!

Dress comes with original box, hanger & dustbag and also Ivory ribbon (please note that I wore a different belt that I had made!)
