The Dress

There's a reason they've created a Collectors Edition Barbie in this dress. I purchased this Vera Wang "Audrey" gown at the Bridal Salon at Saks Jandel in Chevy Chase, MD. This exquisite mermaid/trumpet gown is from Vera Wang's LUXE Collection and is every bit of couture you would expect from Vera Wang. This gown is made of Crinkled silk, hand-rolled roses and covered with Chantilly lace handmade of bobbin lace named after the city of Chantilly, France. Chantilly lace is know for its incredible detail and fine outlined pattern. The bottom of the gown is layered with fan tiered lace and organza. Gorgeous satin button detail goes all the way down the back. The sash is included with the dress. The built in bustier and fitted bodice has great structure as you would expect, and will suck you in! It is very comfortable. This is a head turner. People still tell me how gorgeous my dress was, years later. I am very happily married with a beautiful family, and the time has come for me to say goodbye. I hope this dress gives you as much joy as it gave me on my wedding day!
