The Dress

Beautiful wedding dress purchased from David's Bridal (on sale) for $1500. This dress is ivory colored with 5 layers to the skirt, an elegant button-up back, and intricate bead work throughout the sheer top layer. The dress was worn for about 3 hours during a small elopement and is in perfect condition. The bride was 5' tall and wore 2.5 inch heels. Bride was a size 3 and around 110 lbs. There is a 3 button bustle that is well hidden under the lace of the dress and sits quite comfortably when in use. The train is lovely and does pull on the ground in a more traditional style but it is not too long, which ensures ease of walking. This dress is so gorgeous that I don't want to let it go to waste sitting in my closet. I have more pictures available upon request.

The dress was hemmed with the utmost attention payed to the preservation of the original style (the curved lace on the bottom line of the dress is still intact!) and a 3 button bustle was added during the tailoring process.
