Worn for my wedding this year in late March, this blush, nude and white silk tulle wedding dress has spaghetti straps and Chantilly lace appliques. This piece is still in the current Monique Lhullier collection from Spring 2016 and can be purchased from this collection on her website. I also wore a Jenny Packham floor length veil made of white tulle and champagne silk trimmings to match the straps of the dress.
A beautiful dress which embodies the pure romance of the day, starting with floral lace appliqués tumbling gracefully down a V-neck bodice suspended from delicate spaghetti straps and shaped to accentuate a small waist. A hint of pale color beneath a voluminous skirt of ethereal silk tulle adds a dramatic dimension. Non-stretch silk georgette lining. V-neckline. Spaghetti straps. Lightweight, non-stretch tulle with embroidered lace and appliqués. Low back zip closure.
This dress was a dream to wear on my wedding day, it was lightweight, easy to move in and the colour is so beautiful having the blush, nude and white all layered over each other. It comprises of 7 layers of tulle and lining all in various shades, you can see the inner layers in some of the photographs.
This sale also includes the Jenny Packham floor length veil which is white with champagne trimmings (matches the spaghetti straps) which I wore for about 10 minutes due to the day being very windy! RRP for the veil is $1000. Happy to include it as it really does go perfectly with the dress!
I am pretty much a perfect size 8. It is beyond floor length on me with 12cm heels on. My natural height is 167cm. The gown has a train. Nude cups have been sewn into the dress. The alteration for this dress was extremely easy!
2 small tears in the tulle near the very bottom of the dress.
