The Dress

*HAYLEY PAIGE CHANTELLE WITH ELYSIA SKIRT*

Featuring a beautiful ivory tulle bridal ball gown, strapless lace corset bodice, cascading tulle skirt with thin double horsehair edging.

I purchased this gown from the Eternal Bridal boutique in Sydney, Australia. The RRP of the gown is AUD5750. I will also include my gorgeous veil as well (a grand/cathedral single layer tulle veil in matching ivory).

I customised the Chantelle gown with Hayley Paige's Elysia skirt. I also had a beautiful French ivory satin ribbon belt added (shipped in from New York), which is easily removable.

The dress is a Hayley Paige standard size 4 and has been slightly altered to my measurements (i.e. I had the waist brought in by a couple of cms.) My height without heels is 164cm. I would normally wear a size AU6 in everyday clothing.

Other minor alterations include: adding of single bust cups to the bodice, stiffening of the lace edging on the bodice and the hemline brought up slightly. All alterations to this dress were performed by a high end, professional seamstress employed directly through Eternal Bridal, executed to the highest quality finish.

I only wore the gown for a few hours as I changed into two other gowns for my reception.

The gown has been professionally dry cleaned by a premium bridal gown specialist.

This is a beautiful gown and was an absolute dream to wear. Although I am sad to part with it, I hope another bride will find as much joy in wearing it as I did!
