The Dress

This dress is intricately and beautifully handmade in Russia.

This style is custom made for our store with a inner layer of pure silk fabric (Skirt length can be easily shortened using any tailor.)
It features a sweetheart neckline bodice made with nude garbardine, with a lace overlay, and an a-line skirt. The skirt is made of one layer of blush tulle covered with layers of ivory tulle.

The corset bodice is fully boned to provide structure and support. The ivory coloured lace overlay features long sleeves and appliqué of embroidered cherry blossom flowers. The lace looks a little vintage due to its crochet-like texture and warm colour.

From the right shoulder the beautiful cherry blossom flowers 'fly' down the bodice just like they do when warm spring winds sweep in! Every little flower is embroidered using viscose threads in a blush tone that matches the lace and skirt. Some flowers are hand embellished with tiny transparent sequins and pearl centres. This adds just the right amount of delicate sparkle.

This gown is truly modest providing good coverage but doesn't look boring or old fashioned. It has a lot of unique eye-catching details and a modern silhouette. It's very comfortable to wear and quite lightweight too!

Back button closure with the buttons handmade and covered with matching lace fabric. Lovely double-faced satin ribbon sash in dark red is included.
The skirt can be easily spot cleaned. The fabric is soft and luxurious to the touch and low maintenance.
