The Dress

Size 8 (Australian Size 12).

The original measurements as per the brand's website are:
Bust: 35″–36″
Waist: 28″–29″
(My measurements are bust: 34, waist: 29, hips: 38)

The colour of this dress is almond with rose gold sequins. It features a plunging neckline, open sides, and a striking back. The skirt is made on the bias using chiffon, which flows effortlessly from the waist to the floor. The gown is tied together beautifully with a silk bow but can be worn without the sash if desired.

The bodice is lined with a stretch satin, and lies close to the skin. Minimal support is provided through the straps and waistband (however no bra necessary).


I had the dress altered slightly, with the clip on the waistband moved (this could easily be reshifted to suit you). I also had the straps shortened as I have a smaller bust (34") however the extra strap length remains and could be readjusted if necessary. The dress has been hemmed, I am 5'9 1/2" (roughly 176cm) and wore a 5.5cm heel.

This beautiful dress has not been dry cleaned but as per the designer’s recommendation has instead been carefully hand washed. As the ceremony was outside, there were some marks on the bottom of the skirt which have come out. The photos on the hanger were taken after the wedding and wash.

I loved every second in this dress and I am hoping to pass it on to someone who will enjoy it just as much!
