The Dress

This is a beautiful, flattering and lightweight wedding dress! I loved everything about it! My seamstress was also a woman's body guru goddess and made little but extraordinary changes to it that make it that much more special and beautiful!

If you see the designer pictures, you'll see there is beading all around the top. I chose to pay 100 more to get it without the beading, because I was going for a different look.

It has a sweetheart neckline and is a mermaid cut. I am 5'3 and wore 4 inch heels. So the dress was hemmed at this height. The back was originally a zipper hidden by the buttons, but the zipper was taken out and the buttons were made to actually work. This is actually a better way for the dress to close! The waist was also lifted slightly and is at a perfect height for anyone up to 5'8. A ribbon was added at the waist to cinch in more and it was lifted so that the fitted area was not too low and be more proportionate. I had my own bra slightly sewn in (that is not included) but I highly recommend! I was so comfortable and not worried about falling out or weird shape lines. My seamstress also added ribbon so that train could be picked up easily and an attractive way for the reception- I did not want a huge hump on the back of my calves. :-)

I included a picture of my husband twirling me because I thought the dress moved really well. I felt like I was walking on a cloud and felt like one too! Did I mention how light it was?!
