The Dress

Beautiful ivory soft mermaid from Vera Wang. The dress is a gorgeous silk chiffon with additional layers of silk crepe that go up and over the shoulder. I received endless compliments, and as you can see from the pictures it is incredibly flattering.
This dress has a streamlined construction and the stretch crepe hugs the figure and accentuates the curves. It was originally made in a 2012 collection but I purchased new in September of 2015 and wore in November 2015.

All alterations were done by the wedding store's best seamstress. I had the bust and waist taken in, length shortened a tad, boning lengthened to smooth silhouette, ruffled tulle removed from underneath, and train removed. My seamstress left much of the fabric in there so it could be let out at a later stage.

The dress has been professionally cleaned and also gone over by a professional seamstress to ensure all stitching is tight and there are no loose threads. There are not any stains but there are a few picks which are not noticeable unless staring very closely.
