The Dress

The dress comes with a jeweled belt on ivory satin fabric as well as the ivory satin belt that I had made for the dress as seen in the pictures from my wedding (which was tacked on by the seamstress). It was a fairly light, comfortable dress for my summer wedding. I had no trouble moving around and dancing in it and loved the length of the train. The design of the dress on Mori Lee's website shows it as being very fitted until just about the model's knees. I chose a larger size dress and alterations were made so that the dress was less fitted overall but especially from the hips down.

I wore this dress and had it dry cleaned immediately after returning from my honeymoon. It has been stored properly ever since.

I am 5'10'' so I did not change the length of this dress at all. A simple (one point English) bustle was added. The ivory satin belt shown in the pictures was tacked to the dress but can be easily removed. The dress was taken in on the hips and in the chest from the standard size 10.

Only flaw is a tear on the seam of the inner garment near the bust. The dress itself is not ripped and it is on a seam so it would be easy to fix.
