The Dress

Olsen is a white crêpe, beautifully fitted, long dress, handmade in France. It has French Calais Lace sleeves, back detail and unique panel detail. It is an iconic dress, finding the perfect balance between fashionable, feminine and bridal.

I am and 5' 7" a pretty standard size 8. The dress fitted perfectly. I can honestly say it was the most special outfit I have ever worn and I received so many compliments I was on a high for weeks!

You are very welcome to try it on. The closest tube to me is Highbury & Islington in London. Purchased from Net-a-Porter in September 2016.

The only alterations I had made was to trim off some of the puddle hem (so I could walk) and to add a tie on the inside so it lift off the floor (for dancing!). The dress still puddles (I am 5' 7" and wore 4" heels).

It has been dry-cleaned by a bridal dress expert. There are no marks anywhere on the outside of the dress. The only sign it has been worn is a very faint line on the inside of the hem where it has brushed the floor. This cannot be seen when the dress is on. Depending on your height, you may wish to trim the hem and this would remove the marked material. I also had two small holes in the lace invisibly repaired - they are under the arms so were not visible anyway, but I wanted to return the dress to perfect condition.
