The Dress

I sadly have to sell my beautiful and uniquely stylish Paloma Blanca wedding dress as can't afford to keep it. This elegant dress is gown 4159 from her 2011 Spring/ Fall collection.

It is a truly stunning dress, cream/ champagne in colour, UK size 10 and worn briefly so it’s like new. Exquisitely made from high quality raw silk it makes the dress super lightweight and cool to wear compared to other dresses I tried.

I’m throwing in a gorgeous box (gold leaf design) that cost me £65 and the dress has been professionally dry-cleaned.

I felt PHENOMINAL in this dress (it was well worth the long long search) and received so many compliments I felt like an old golden age Hollywood movie star!
The outer shell is raw silk (it swishes gently as you move) with a fitted bodice with sweetheart neckline and a one-shoulder design strap made of handmade silk flowers; each with a single delicate crystal centre.
It has a thin layer of netting underneath (probably removable but makes it hang beautifully) and a satin feeling inner lining.
Fastened at the back with a hook and concealed zip which, at my request had matching fabric buttons added by the designer at the point the dress was made (just down the length of the zip – see the photo of my back). They look gorgeous but are cosmetic so I believe could be easily removed.

I bought this dress in a UK size 10 and it barely needed any alteration. I am 5 ft. 8 in height and wore 3-inch heels on the day.

I'm based in Brighton so if you would like to come and try it on but if you can't I’d recommend trying a size 10 of this dress in a shop near you. Once you commit to buy, please do so in the knowledge you can't return it.

The dress has been dry cleaned and so will come packed in acid free tissue paper, in the specialist pH neutral box and with a protective bag for you to hang it in. The dress genuinely looks as if brand new on the outside but there are a few marks on the underside of the back of the train - these are not visible when wearing the dress. Collection is free, otherwise I will charge the cost price to send special delivery to the required destination and will agree this with you before you commit to buy.
