The Hayley Paige Dori dress is described as an "alabaster tulle bridal gown with halter high neck alabaster and crystal bodice, full horse hair flounced skirt and chapel train."
This dress gave me the fairy tale feeling I didn't even know I wanted. It was completely different from what I expected to wear, but after I tried it on for the first time, nothing else compared. It made me feel invincibly beautiful. While I wish I could wear it every day, I know that I can't. The best I could hope for is to have it make someone else feel just as incredible as I did on my wedding day!
While fairly unique, it was definitely wearable and still made me feel very much like a bride. The "alabaster" skirt reads differently in different lighting as the layers of tulle vary slightly. Because of our bright and eclectic theme for our wedding, it was mostly neutral with a slight lavender tint for me. The bodice is hand-beaded with moonstone and crystals, which are so stunning in person that the pictures almost don't do it justice.
There are no flaws (since this dress is perfect), but I did have a few alterations done:
The hemline taken up about 1.5" - I was 5' 8.5" with my heels. The waist was taken out a little from 29" to 30," which slightly altered where the straps meet the skirt on the back of the dress (pictured). Bra cups were also added but could easily be moved or removed.
I hope you love it as much as I always will!
