This gorgeous classic silhouette styled gown is made for someone looking to feel confident in her choices, herself, her presentation of herself on the big day, and wants to show off all the hard works she’s done (you know what I mean. We all work out and do the make up, hair, nails, and all that!) The crepe fabric gives you some texture so you don’t feel as “exposed” or “ open to scrutiny about your body” as a smooth satin fabric would have you feeling, and it has some weight to it. There are padded bust cups sewn in if you want the support or want to emphasize your curves - these can easily be removed if you decide you don’t want them; the fabric and lining provides good coverage alone if you plan to go braless. This dress covers you in the front and the low back with the button detail is all you, girly. Show off! You’re going to feel good when you put her on. Each element of this dress is high quality, the fabric, the stitching, the buttons, the zippers, the detailed work on the seams, and the train length. The train is a lovely length to compliment the floor length front of the dress; I planned to wear 5” pointed toe heels and was able to confidently walk without stepping on or almost stepping on a hem.

There is button detail on the sleeves, from just below elbow to the end and they are functional - once you slip into this dress, get your arms in the sleeves, and zip them to your wrists, have someone help you button the buttons. The buttons down the back, from waist/low back to just below butt, is the same process; after sliding the dress on, have someone help you zip and button the buttons.
This dress was only tried on three times; once upon arrival at The Dress Theory Nashville, once for alterations, and once at home. Never worn for event.
