This Ellington dress by Jane Hill was my dream. It was both classic and a little different. I adore the button detail on the back and the sheer panels under each arm.
I wore it with a pearl beaded veil and would choose it all again! Its made of heavy weighted bonded crepe and lined with soft charmeuse.
I purchased it through Sphere Bridal and knew the minute I tried it on it was the one.
I had only minor alterations, breast cups stitched into place and a bustle ribbon under the skirt. I’m quite tall at 173cm and I wore a mid height heel allowing the dress to just sit on the floor.
The dress was dry cleaned immediately and has been stored appropriately since. There’s no damage, just a few small faint orange marks under the arm pits. May remove with another dry clean before its next wear.
This stunning dress carried me through one of the best days of my life, I can only hope it finds someone who loves it as much as I do and can see another love story unfold🎀
