"A true piece of art" — one of the many comments I received about this dress on my wedding day.

Fig by Georgia Young Couture genuinely ticks every box I wanted in my dress: modern and cool, yet elegant and special. The internal sheath silhouette is so flattering, accentuating the incredible corset by running down the figure — complete with a second ballgown style skirt that brings the drama.

Perfect way to achieve beautiful big moments and have the dress you pictured as a little girl, while still feeling fashion-forward and fresh.

The material and construction of the dress is second-to-none, the incredible soft detailed material features a subtle print adding complexity and interest. The structured draping further elevates the style and flatters the figure. The low back and drop waist at the back is the finishing touch to this modern, cool, yet beautiful bridal look.

As Georgia Young does not offer final alterations, I had a tailor add fabric buttons as a bustle for my train, as you can see in the last picture. The hem was taken up slightly, otherwise no further alterations have been made to the standard size 8 dress.
