If you love vintage bridal, this is your dress!

I originally purchased this stunning Vera Wang from a kind and beautiful bride who got married in 2000. Incredibly unique with the back bow details plus a satin trim and buttons running down the back. What makes this dress special is the construction. They don't make dresses like this anymore. I took this to a gown maker who was able to explain how intricate the corset and train is, plus multi-layered. The fabric includes real silk.

The slightly low waist is so quintessential 90s. The strapless top and boning of the corset is very flattering. You'd find this dress on The Real Real or Vestaire Collection for $10,000+, but I wanted to sell this to someone who similarly appreciates vintage bridal. I invested in its restoration and am selling it a few weeks after our wedding (late April 2026) so that it can be loved by someone else.

FYI - I added a cheap petticoat from Amazon underneath to help with walking/dancing. It gives a fuller skirt so you don't trip on it and gives the added benefit of a more dramatic shape.

Alterations

Hooks have been added for the bustle by the original bride in the year 2000
It still works great with photos included
A hook has been added halfway down the train so you can hold it when you're getting in/out of a car on the way to the ceremony or reception
In 2025, I took in the bust a little more and loosened the corset around the ribcage
Cups were added that can be easily removed if not for you
Additionally, I had this dress restored after being carefully preserved for 20+ years - the buttons and beautiful bows on the back were cleaned (or replaced) as needed, the dress was fully pressed, and it was hung in front of a window that had a special glass treatment to help brighten the dress
This process is hugely important for bringing life back to a dress without using harsh chemicals - bleaching an old dress works but it then degrades the quality so that it'll eventually disintegrate
This dress was treated with care and taken to an expert
