Dearest Gentle Reader, a soon to be bride must learn a valuable lesson: Bridal Dress sizes are not 1:1 with standard dress sizes. Alas, in a post-proposal frenzy fueled by Pinterest, wine, and the burning desire to look like a fantasy book heroine, I purchased this dress online without taking my measurements. Regrettably, my true measurements and this dress just don’t mix. After many tears, I have had to face the consequences of my own impulsivity and accept that I have to let this dress go. My loss is your gain!

This is the Kim Kassas Couture Isabelle dress! It is truly one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever had the privilege of seeing and attempting to wear. The official site describes it as "A structured corset dress made of silk taffeta with dusted pink and silver Indian embroidery detailing on the bodice accentuated by an extra voluminous skirt and thigh high slit." It is seriously a 10/10 dress, and the photos don't do it justice. It is surprisingly light and airy for a ballgown dress due to the silk taffeta. Perfect for dancing all night or running through a field with a sword. It is well structured and supportive, likely more so if you can properly fit in it.
