I never got to wear this dress as the seamstress never finished alterations in time. She was a lovely lady, but the alterations I’d wanted probably should’ve never been guaranteed possible before purchasing. I’d wanted to change the neckline to a v-neck with straps, and it almost got there, but I ended up wearing my reception dress instead. The tag did break off when I tried it on for the last time, but it was never worn/used. Photos include the original strapless version, the version right before the cups were added, and then the version with the cups added (crystal belt was added and then taken off). I regret asking for cups as that’s when the fit went from almost being right to getting thrown off— looking back, I might have worn it if those were removed. However, after 3 months of weekly fittings, I still had two fittings the day that we left for our wedding— and it just didn’t get there. The new bodice was built on top of the original, so those materials remain. Plan for alterations so that you can sculpt it to your liking.
