The moment I found this dress, I knew it was THE ONE for so many reasons and my search ended on my first day of dress shopping. The unique color called "pewter" is a shade of silver, but in certain light it has tones of gray or ivory. I've included photos taken in various lighting so you can see the variations (e.g., outdoors, dark rooms with little lighting, bright rooms with natural light). The strapless gown includes a sweetheart neckline and is made of satin layered over a lightweight tulle skirt that volumizes the bottom for a dramatic effect. The corset-style back coupled with the rouching on the bodice offers a slimming effect. I am a slender-framed woman who has carried weight in my stomach my entire life. This dress smoothed and shaped like a pro with zero need for uncomfortable expensive shapewear. My absolute favorite part of this dress is the detachable belt with the black accent flower. The contrast of the embellished black flowers against the light-colored pewter gives a certain OOMPH. Please note the flowers within the folds towards the bottom of the dress are not detachable.

This early 2010s-era dress has been discontinued, so you'll only find this one pre-loved. I originally purchased it in 2011, and immediately after my wedding it was cleaned and preserved by the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. It has since been stored in the preservation box within a smoke-free home, sitting untouched in a guest bedroom closet. Please reach out if you have any questions.
