Ruffle back high neck fitted lace gown in ivory by Oscar de la Renta . It’s a 2 piece detachable gown -incredibly special and rare piece that I truly fell in love with the moment I found it.

I purchased this second-hand from a previous bride as my wedding reception dress for July, and it really is the dream dress. However, I’ve since decided to go in a different direction with another designer, which makes this a very hard decision to let go.

Originally tailored for the previous seller (details below), it fits approximately a US 2 / UK 8 / EU 36, with room for alterations if needed. The previous seller was 170cm tall and wore a 50mm (2 inch) Manolo heel. I am 172cm and the current length works perfectly with a 1.5 inch heel.

For reference, my measurements are a 34B bust and 26.5” waist, and the dress fits me beautifully, again with some flexibility for tailoring.

The craftsmanship and lace detail are absolutely stunning, and the silhouette is incredibly flattering -it’s elegant, timeless, and feels so special on. This style is not easy to find, especially in such great condition.

The dress was previously professionally dry cleaned by Jeeves Mayfair and comes with the original Jeeves tissue for proper preservation. It did not come with the original garment bag when I purchased it, but it will be sent in an Alexander McQueen garment bag (on request).

The dress has also been professionally bustled at the Oscar de la Renta London store.

Condition: Used but still in very good condition. There was a small area of wear with a few tiny holes in the lace, which has since been professionally repaired by a specialist. The repair is very discreet and not noticeable when worn.
