Caroline Castigliano, Tribute Gown with Customisation

CAROLINE CASTIGLIANO TRIBUTE GOWN +/- MARILYN SHRUG - MADE TO MEASURE SIZE 8

This dress was made to measure and fitted by Caroline's head seamstress in her shop in Knightsbridge. It is made from a supersoft and lightweight Italian Mikado fabric. The corset is super structured with traditional ties that nips in the waist just above the A-line of the skirt, giving a very flattering sillhouette. The back of the corset/top has been customised to sit in a glamorous v-back that is lower than the original dress. The skirt has dramatic pleating and a luxurious train that has been altered to be ever so slightly shorter (and more manageable for moving around!).

Caroline's seamstress added in some details to ensure that the dress stayed perfectly in place - a sticky lining and a hidden waistband, as well as a bustle and a hand loop for the dancefloor.

The dress comes free with puff sleeves pictured in the final photo - I didn't wear them so they are brand new.

I am also selling the lace shrug pictured for £1,100 (RRP £2,000) - this is the "Marilyn", also by CC. It is a gorgeous french corded lace shrug with an off-shoulder neck line, full length sleeves, full length Rouleau loops and buttons up the back and eyelash trim.

I felt like a princess in this dress and it would make me so happy for it to have the opportunity to do the same for another girl!

The skirt features lustrous soft pleats through the sides and back to create extra volume for a billowing, dramatic effect, and is given a contemporary twist with pockets which are concealed in the side seams.

The look is finished with the ruched puff sleeves which flow around the arms for a romantic, contemporary feel.
