This dress is classic and beautiful. Lace and tulle are high-quality and well-preserved. The dress is fitted throughout, but fits more like a fit-and-flare as opposed to traditional mermaid style.

The straps are lace. There are pads sewn into the bodice, which can be removed, although they are perfect for the bride who doesn't want to worry about undergarments showing.

The back is open, with silk buttons halfway down the back. The dress has a short, simple train with a bustle professionally sewn in, perfect for dancing at the reception.

It was altered through the bust, and the length was hemmed about 0.5-1 inch, although the scalloped lace bottom was preserved. The bride is 5'8.5'' and wore ballet flats.
